YNY offers various (unpaid) internship programs each semester in New York City. We are inviting students to involve and take part in this exciting opportunity to do what you love doing and learn more about your passion and skill in multimedia.
We are happy to work with schools for student interns receiving credits, but receiving credits is not required.
Journalism Internship
Write news updates, can also be features and editorials
Research select articles
Manage and build databases of resources
Assist staff writers
Follow-up submission of articles
Help proof-read articles
Upload articles and photos
Perform other administrative duties
Video Production Internship
Write scripts for video articles
Research video topics
Mange and build databases of resources
Assist video producers during pre-production and production shoot
Help operate camera and other video production equipment
Assist video editors during post-production
Perform other administrative duties
Advertising Internship
Research online advertising prospects
Manage and build databases of resources
Assist in generating leads for advertising revenue
Assist in advertising production
Help contact and follow-up on (new and existing) advertisers
Involve in creative input such as copy-writing and ad design
Assist in the integration of online advertising, internet marketing and social media
Website Internship
Coordinate and upload new text, articles and photos on the site
Assist in providing website support
Conduct research on web development and new technologies
Assist in the integration of online advertising, internet marketing and social media
