IHOP’s annual Pancake Day is coming a week early this year. Since their first Pancake Day event in 2006, Pancake Day has traditionally been held on Shrove Tuesday also known to many as Fat Tuesday (the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday). This year the International House of Pancakes is pushing up their complimentary short stack day by a week to build a momentum and raise awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network.
On March 1st, each dine-in customer is eligible to receive a short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes. Over the last four years, IHOP has given away more than 10.1 million butter milk pancakes. In return for the free flapjacks, IHOP asks customers to consider donating any amount of their choice to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities. Check out their IHOP Pancake Day website for details and store locations. You can even sign up for a celebrity wake up call on March 1st reminding you its Pancake Day!!!
