With Halloween just three days away, the streets will soon be filled with ghouls, goblins, and Gaga’s. Making its paparazzi debut, The Old Homestead Steakhouse in the meatpacking district of New York City is selling a USDA knockoff of Lady Gaga’s meat dress from the MTV’s Video Music Awards. Fashioned in a porterhouse bodice, rib eye leggings, and boots structured in Kobe beef, the 85-pound Old Homestead costume is valued at $100,000.

Accessorized with a bone marrow necklace and matching headdress, the NYC eatery is also including a designer goody bag packed with Kobe burgers, chocolate sauce, filet mignon, and of course, candy corn. Owner of the restaurant, Marc Sherry told the Daily News that he wanted to make his meat dress a “cut above” designer Franc Fernandez’s “no thought” “tacky” skirt steak sensation.

Sherry points out that the life of this dress doesn’t expire on Halloween. The lucky owner of this dress can “wear it for an hour, have fun with it.” As the night comes to an end, Sherry’s “lucky lady” can take the $100,000 costume off and “maybe her and her date can grill up some of the filet mignons.”

Sanitary or chic Mery Lopez, the waitress turn model that donned the diva dress for the Daily News, called it “Heavy. And greasy. And gross.” For some low cost Halloween costume ideas check out YNY TV: Halloween Extravaganza for finding a costume in your closet.
